FVM CORE VALUES

Over the past months, we had the opportunity for the FVM Board and Malawi team to meet online to review our organizational values. Led by Bonnie Henault, Executive Coach and Leadership Specialist, we refined and renewed our commitment to these values. We recognize the importance of this process as we prepare to welcome new employees into the Sunuzi Health Centre, and we desire to live out the following values:

Christ-Centered Love • We are rooted in the love of Jesus, which drives and shapes our mission, guides our decisions, and defines how we serve. His love is the source of our compassion, hope, and purpose. (Romans 5:5; Ephesians 3:17-18)

Holistic Care • We serve the whole person — spirit, soul and body. • We honor every person, treating others with empathy, practical care, dignity and respect, to meet needs in the community. (1 Thessalonians 5:23; Philippians 2:3-4)

Transformation for Life • We are committed to creating long-term, life-changing impact for individuals, families, and communities, inspiring lasting influence across generations. (2 Corinthians 5:17; 2 Timothy 2:2)

Integrity • We endeavor to serve with diligence and excellence, doing what is right with consistency and transparency. • We strive to work collaboratively and steward our resources faithfully and responsibly. (2 Corinthians 8:21; Psalm 25:21)

Little Graduates

Pictured here, Dan & Ruth Macy distribute writing materials to 200 students, as well as congratulate our recent graduates. 150 children (85 from Chinangwa and 65 from Chifundo Nursery Schools, representing 27% of the total enrollment of 567) graduated to formal primary school.

Chrispin

Chrispin was a security guard at Mulunguzi House who served well and blessed many with his beautiful smile and welcoming spirit. He has stepped across into Jesus’ presence. He will be missed here. So thankful that Dan & Chris Hayhoe were able to squeeze in a final visit just weeks before Chrispin’s passing.
